Knysna Elephant Park

In Knysna, there is a park where elephants, who onced roamed these forests freely, are kept in a park where they can roam within the boundaries of the park.

It wasn’t close to what we were able to see on the safari, but one cool thing was the kids got to ride one of the elephants.

The combination of being able to walk with, touch, and then ride the elephants, with being able to see them truly in the wild a week later gave us all an incredible appreciation for these amazing animals.
