Middle School Play

We spent much of this weekend watching Jessica and her friends perform as the Little Red Elizabeth Irwin Shakespeare Company in a production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged!.

It was quite funny.  It’s all 37 plays in less than 90 minutes.  How can you beat that?

Jessica played one of the narrators, Mildred Bob.

The name Mildred Bob was an inspiration from one of Emily’s camp friends.

Mildred Bob is the scholarly narrator, the one who tries to keep this rambling farce as serious as possible. 

It’s an impossible task, but she had a lot of fun with it.

There were a bunch of humorous moments, including Titus Andronicus as a cooking show.

But my personal favorite was Othello as a rap star.  That was hilarious.
