Happy Birthday America

It’s July 4th, our shared birthday.

I recommend spending 25 minutes today and listening to Jason Chervokas’ excellent This Is My Country podcast.

It includes the recorded voice of Walt Whitman reading his poem America sometime in the late 1800s.  That alone is worth click over to listen.

The rest of the show features some great American music.  I loved it and I suspect you all will too.
