Mea Culpa

I screwed up one of the Alexa charts in my Blogging 1.0 (continued) post yesterday.

I showed a chart of Gawker’s traffic vs NewYorkMetro.com (NY magazine’s web site). 

That chart showed that Gawker was just blowing NewYorkMetro out of the water.

To be honest, it didn’t look right to me, but in my haste to get the post up and get to work, I went with it anyway.

It was incorrect.

Here is the correct chart.

It shows that Gawker and NY Metro are running neck and neck.

But Gawker is weblog written mainly by one person.

NewYorkMetro.com has all of the content in New York Magazine going for it.

I still think it’s pretty incredible.
