Gone For Two Months

The kids are gone for the next two months at camp.

It’s a summer ritual at this point in our family.

It’s Jessica’s eighth year, Emily’s sixth, and Josh’s third.

But the site of them walking through that door and up the stairs is always a little emotional, much less so now than in the early years.

It’s a preview of college and beyond I am sure.

We’ll miss them.
