AVC's Community

If you don’t read this blog via the web, you might not know about a community that’s been developing around my blog. There are 52 members so far. If you’d like to join, just go here and set up an account.

You can see the community members who have most recently visited on this widget that is running on my left sidebar right "beneath the fold".

The whole thing is powered by a service called MyBlogLog. It’s very basic right now as they just rolled it out ,but I hope they’ll add a lot more functionality, like showing your avatar when you post a comment if you are in the community, letting you see all the comments each community member has posted, etc. You get the idea.

I like it because its a way to add some social networking to the blog world and I think it’s badly needed.
