Baby Please Don't Go
I took Emily to see KT Tunstall last night at Webster Hall. KT’s a favorite of The Gotham Gal and Emily’s.
I saw KT do a set at ACL (where this photo was taken by NWGimore) and my favorite part of her show is where in the middle of her hit, Black Horse and The Cherry Tree (woo hoo, woo hoo), she throws the guitar on her back Bruce Springsteen style and goes into a really great version of Baby Please Don’t Go. It’s fun.
So this morning, I pulled a bunch of versions of the classic blues song on Rhapsody for Emily and we are having a blues breakfast history lesson. Awesome.
