Three Times In One Year

The band of the year in my opinion (which is what this blog is all about) are The Arctic Monkeys.

They’ve put out one LP and two EPs this year and I can’t tell you which is one is the best. Each one is better than the next.

The most recent EP has three songs on it and is called Leave Before The Lights Come On, which is also the title of the first track and their most recent single.

But the other two songs, covers of Little Flames ‘Put Your Dukes Up, John’ and Barbara Lewis’ ‘Baby I’m Yours’, are particularly great.

I think these guys are the real deal and we’ll be hearing from them for a long time to come.
