New Wilco - Oh Yeah

2007 just gets better and better. We started with The Shins and Of Montreal‘s wonderful records. Then we got new stuff from Arcade Fire, Sondre Lerche, and Modest Mouse. And now we’ve got new Wilco.

The record is going to be called  Sky Blue Sky and songs for the record have begun to show up on the web this week. Based on what I’ve heard, I’d say its a return to the songwriting of A.M. and Being There with the addition of some amazing solos by Nels Cline. That’s just fine with me.

The best place to hear the new songs is the Hype Machine. The ones I’ve heard so far are:
