From Newton To iPhone

I remember the day I got my Newton. I was attending one of the hot conferences at the time, maybe Demo, maybe PC Forum. To be honest I can’t recall which. And all attendees got a Newton. I used it all conference and pretty much stopped at that. It’s been gathering dust in my gadget museum on my bookshelf in the Union Square Ventures offices for the past four years.

Last night as the Facebook meetup was winding down, David Karp of Tumblr fame was showing everyone some cool stuff on his iPhone and I went and grabbed my Newton. David’s friend gave me her iPhone and David shot this photo. It’s on David’s blog along with a photo of me shooting the meetup from the floor. What a fun night.
