+++ for the maple syrup and Canadian maple leaves on that sweet pie.Reminded me that Canada is almost each US state’s biggest exporter. http://image-store.slidesha

We’re all moving to Canada, dontcha know? Lol.Marshmallow-topped sweet potato and pecans to go with the turkey, cooked by a lawyer from Delaware. One turkey was sous-vide, the other regular oven.Alas, no pies. One of the guys tried to make a bread+butter pudding with Panetone which made me regret not baking a pumpkin cake.https://uploads.disquscdn.chttps://uploads.disquscdn.chttps://uploads.disquscdn.c

is this the future map if the US ever goes belly up? the land grabs seem geographically natural , especially Canada and Mexico, but how will France, Belgium, UEA, and Switzerland acquire their new overseas territories? Is it the Alaska model – the buyer gets bought out? The UK is so indebted it wouldn’t stand a chance in any bidding war. What is the relationship between Switzerland and Nevada?

      1. William Mougayar

So many hypothetical questions! Not sure what’s happening between Nevada and Switzerland.

I like that you represent Thanksgiving with Pecan Pie. Not everyone eats Turkey (I do, but know many vegetarians) but most people will identify with a pie – pecan or pumpkin or apple. Happy Thanksgiving.

I’m pretty big on the future of Thanksgiving, I think blockchain technology will really revolutionize the holiday so it can compete with the established giants like Christmas. Time will tell though, Trump’s presidency has given this market segment a little uncertainty, but I know a good amount of VCs are excited about the growth potential.

CONTRIBUTORS:Food should stimulate your appetite.Good food shouldn’t look like a prop.If you ever had a Grandmother, mother or aunts with the ability to cook we know the difference. Good tasting food doesn’t taste like the generic local Baker made it.———-Sweet potato pieDirections In a small bowl, combine the flour, Splenda, nutmeg and sea salt. In a large bowl, beat the sweet potatoes, egg whites, corn syrup, can’t believe it’s butter and egg whites mixture. Gradually stir in almond milk. Pour into pastry shell.Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
