Netflix and TiVo

We are big fans of both services. Now it appears they are banding together to create a movie download service. Apparently if you are a Netflix customer (we are) and a Tivo user (we are), soon you’ll be able to download the Netflix DVDs directly to your TiVo.

This is a great development. If nothing else, its going to push the cable companies to be a lot more agressive about their movie on demand services which need to offer a lot more content to become compelling.

As soon as its available, we’ll get the new Netflix/TiVo service and I’ll let you know what we think.
