The Ocean Breathes Salty

The title of this post is a great Modest Mouse song on the new album.

But the post is about the Atlantic Ocean. I’ve spent the past week out here at our house in Amagansett. We live a short walk from the beach and we go to sleep and wake up to the roar of the ocean every day.

When its sunny, as it has been this past week, we spend our afternoons on the beach. I think the beach in Amagansett is one of the most beautiful stretch of beaches in the world. At least its the most beautiful that I’ve seen.

I am headed back to the city and work tomorrow. I’ll miss the ocean, but we’ve got some great memories to take with us.
