ASK buys Bloglines

Assuming the rumors of Ask buying Bloglines are true, and where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, this is an interesting development in the RSS/blog world.

It didn’t take all that long to happen.  A portal buys an aggregator.

I use three RSS aggregators; my.yahoo, bloglines, and newsgator.  Each has something I like in them.

Bloglines is a good product and Ask is getting another interesting asset.

If anyone knows how much they paid, I’d love to find out.
