Happy Birthday Jessica

14 years ago tonite, I was sitting in Beth Israel hospital waiting for the Gotham Gal to deliver our first child.  She was two weeks late and had been in the hospital for two  days trying to induce labor.

Finally, around 10pm the doctor showed up and told me that "it was time to open her up and get the baby out". I was so happy to hear that news.

An hour later, he pulled Jessica out and our world changed.

She’s 14 now and it seems like yesterday.
