Want To Get Spammed?

Just put your email address on the web.

Most people know not to do this.

It’s a surefire way to get on spammer’s lists.

But in an indication of just how fast this happens, I put the email address [email protected] on my ad for an experienced Internet retailer on Friday afternoon.

A spam email was the fourth email I got.

That’s why I made up a new email address for this ad and I’ll delete it when the position is filled.

But the spammers’ ability to harvest this kind of information in real time and act on it is impressive on one hand and disgusting on the other.
