Rasta Sinead

Sinead O’Connor has always been a favorite of ours.

Her debut, The Lion and The Cobra, and her follow up, I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got, were in constant rotation when they came out.

Sinead has struggled to live up to those two great records ever since.

But she has hit the ball out of the park with her reggae record (and protest record), Throw Down Your Arms.  It was produced by Sly and Robbie and features music from many of the greatest reggae artists of our time.

The last four songs; Downpressor Man, Throw Down Your Arms, Untold Stories, and the awesome War are worth the price of the record alone.
