Ads Between The Posts

You will see a new ad unit on my blog starting tonight.

There will be an ad between the first and second post.

It’s powered by FeedBurner and is an example of the kind of thing that’s now possible as FeedBurner moves beyond the feed onto the web.

These ads can be dynamically targeted based on how many comments I might have, how many posts I might have, and many other things that can be determined by working with the feed.

It will be interesting to watch the response rates to these ads versus the ones on the sidebar. I’ll report back on that once I’ve got enough data.
