Getting More Stations For Your Car Radio

There was a discussion on Jeremy Zawodny’s blog recently about HD Radio. Jeremy has been hearing a lot of ads for HD Radio and wondered if he should get it. The focus of his post and the discussion was on the quality of the sound in HD (which is much better). But the whole post and discussion left out the most important thing about HD Radio. More free stations for your car radio.

That’s why I was so happy to see the tagline in yesterday’s Wall Street Journal piece on HD Radio. "More stations for your car radio". Exactly. That is what HD radio is all about. There are hundreds of new free stations all over the country that are fantastic and ad free.

All you have to do is get one of these new Visteon Jump radios (pictured at the top of this post) and you can be listening to something like twice the number of stations you currently have. All free. All in crisp HD sound quality.
