Jonesing For A Parliamentary System

When the leader of a country with a parliamentary system becomes irrelevant, they step down. I was reminded of that fact when I saw this picture of Tony Blair in today’s Times.

Blair’s buddy George Bush has become even more irrelevant than Blair and yet we’ve got almost two more years of his lame leadership. It pains me to even use the word leadership when describing our president.

So I am jonesing for a parliamentary system this morning.
