Marc Andreessen On Seeing Bubbles That Don't Exist
It’s about time that Marc has joined the blog world. I’ve added him to my blog roll and suggest that you might want to do the same. He’s got a great post up about the OSX apps that he can’t live without (and the ones he can’t live with).
But the post that got me to actually take the time to blog about is this one on bubbles and why we aren’t in one right now. I guess it’s ultimately a semantics issue. If we are talking about valuation inflation and massive company creation activity that is reminiscent of 1999/2000, then I think the venture business is very much in deja vu mode.
But I also agree with everything Marc says. This one is different and I think we’ll get through it a lot better.
