Twittering Avatar

I got a preview of a cool new feature that will be in the next release of Voki, a consumer avatar service developed by our portfolio company Oddcast. Voki will let you link your Voki scene to other services. I linked my avatar to twitter and now my avatar’s speaks my most recent twitter message.

Get a Voki now!

You can see how it works by clicking on the play button. I can think of all kinds of services that could be linked. Very nice work Voki team.

lol. I’m going to have to sample that voice and remix it. Throw it in a drum kit and what not.

i dont understand the appeal of avatars. you can easily send an audio twittergram or a jott or an utterz. does the avatar make it more personal even though your voki voice sounds extremely impersonal?

I only played around with it for a while, but how do I get a custom Voki? One that I design?

I don’t understand the appeal of cool stuff, there’s other stuff, and this stuff isn’t that stuff or some other stuff that isn’t this stuff either and I want everything now.I wonder if the first wheel wan’t perfectly round and there was some guy saying that the wheel sucked.
