Mellow My Mind

It’s been a rough couple of days. We lost our dog Lucky which The Gotham Gal details in this wonderful post.

So I am in need of some release and tonight’s the night for it because Jay, Jackson, Rod, and I are going to go uptown to see Neil Young who is going to play one of my all time favorite Neil songs if the set lists are  any guide. Here’s a great version from 1976. I love when he plays the banjo like a bass. What a genius he is.

Fred,Sorry to hear about Lucky. We’ve had three Golden Retrievers and we’ve always enjoyed their zest for life. Don’t know if you’ve seen this, but Dean Koontz wrote a book with his dog – it’s a good read and always makes our family chuckle ( http://tinyurl.com/2zr5j6 )

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog, amazing how they weave themselves into the fabric of a family. The Neil show will touch upon all of your emotions for sure. Caught two shows in Boston and not only did he sound simply amazing, he was funny, current and acerbic.Keep your eyes on the Painter!

Yesterday, I was listening to “Mellow My Mind” from Neil’s performance at the Keller Auditorium on Oct 22 (a friend gave me a recording of the performance). That song is wonderful and really stands out because of the banjo.

I am sorry about your your dog Fred. I have an 10 year old chocolate lab who is starting to slow down. It sucks to see it happening.

Sorry about your dog. It must have been especially hard on the kids. I hope the concert eased your mind a bit. My husband and I went to a fab Duran Duran concert earlier this week. I did a post about it yesterday. They played mostly their classic 80s songs and a few from their new CD. They knew what the audience came for.

      Give ’em what they want!

Yes! Going to that concert is what made me finally ‘get’ twitter. I was avoiding it for a variety of reasons. I just joined yesterday and am following you now. I did a post about social media mania and mention why I joined twitter at: http://www.entrepremusings….If you are interested, you can follow me at http://twitter.com/aruni
