Looking For Product and Marketing Talent
Our portfolio company Covestor is looking for a VP Product and a head of marketing. Both positions are in New York City.
Covestor has created an entirely new form of investment product – people powered investing. With Covestor you don't buy stocks and you don't buy funds. You "follow investors" with your capital. I've been investing this way since the summer and it's a very interesting new way to manage your money.
These two job openings are opportunities to help define this new form of investing, from the product side and the messaging side.
If you are looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to change the game in an important industry, then these positions might just be the thing for you. If you want to learn more, click on the links at the top of this post and if you want to send in your resume, email it to jobs1009 [at] covestor.com.

if covestor was a dude with a bulletin board wearing a 9/11 truth t-shirt, they’d be kid mercury. lol, ask albert, i always tell him about the strategic similarities between covestor and my trading site. so if there is ever anyway they can push their work tasks to the edge and i can execute them via my trading site, which is designed in a way to be a center for crowdsourcing knowledge production/learning, i’m more than eager to help. we are running from the same playbook, which i think would facilitate things quite a bit.
Who doesn’t love crowd sourced cash, and transparent track records for sharp investors?kidvestor
Kid,Is there a link to your trading site on your blog? If so, perhaps you should make it more prominent, because I’m having a little trouble finding it.
Should be the easiest job on the planet with my model portfolio returns at 131% since they began April 10th.http://cv.im/models/profile…If I do say so myself…
But how have you been doing in your investments? “Interesting,” is an odd way to describe a blind date. I’d love to hear more about your experiences / lessons.
i have to be careful because of Covestor’s compliance issues. i am beating the S&P over that time period.
Great news. Can I tweet that?
That product Job looks cool….
Cool. Did you meet with Jim, the marketing guy I recommended you meet?

Hey Fred,Do you know if Covester would consider MBA candidates who will not graduate until May? I have experience managing technology products for the equity research and trading communities, as well as consumer software marketing experience.
It never hurts to ask them. Send in an email and copy me and I’ll amplify it
Seems very similar to Kaching – except that has far better user engagement
Kaching is a blatant copy cat. Covestor has been around for three years and created the category
