Funding Friday: Sphero RVR

This is such a cool project. I backed it the minute I saw it.

We love our Sphero. And our two Vectors. And our Cozmo. And our Mycroft :DThe two Vectors, I kid you not, are nearly as entertaining as hamsters (without the cleanup). It’s a fascinating experience to have them in the house and observe our own reactions to them.

All of us must have a healthy earnings along with good place of work . But really what we get , very long work hours and bosses long bad feedbacks and also rewards which are not at all truly worth . It is a time for fix , change the approach you decide to work . What do you say about an internet based career which offers you liberty and also time freedom , you could Invest much more time with people you care about and earnings. There are actually easy a set of rules , work on a daily basis for few hours on a regular basis , be your very own boss , and generate approximately $12000 each week . This appears to be fictitious ! well, it is certainly not , it truly is an impressive opportunity to boost your earnings , and fulfill almost all your wishes . What are you waiting for , Go and check it out>>> http://cummins.pt/eA

It’s a better toy than I had at age 8!Looks like fun as in “The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.”So, sure, such toys look like fun! What man can forget the Bond Girl who asked with surprise and frustration, and a Russian accent, “What ziz zit wid you men ahnd mooveen wehickels???”As can be confirmed quickly via Google, there has long been radio controlled (RC) toy cars, boats, and airplanes, and in recent years there has been as athttp://www.rcdronearena.com…FPV or first person video where the RC toy has a video camera the operator can use to steer and control the toy. That is, the operator can imagine they are riding inside the toy.Can buy what seem like polished products, at least for a start, at Amazon, e.g., for $60 athttps://www.amazon.com/ask/…a flying drone with 720 P HD video transmitted via WiFi in real time. The control and video software are standard for Android, iPads, etc.So, is the product today really competitive? Does it have FPV? Is it even RC? What about software for the various attachments? With some seriousness, such a toy will necessarily move into some now large fields of engineering, e.g., robotics, and we should know now how well the toy is suited for that future. Also for a good, general purpose, high potential platform, a larger base might be needed. Also it does appear that there is a large market of parts and components for such devices that could be used with a good platform. The toy should make clear those connections. Also, at some point we should have some examples of significant applications.

I haven’t experienced a drone with FPV yet. Must be awesome.Do you remember these and what you felt the first time you watched?I do. :)[placeholder for view master model G picture].. disqus won’t upload it.. no time to throw away wrestling with disqus today, sorry.

You are ahead of me!Long ago my wife got me for Xmas a P-51 Mustang with a little glow plug nitro methane engine that went in a circle on two wires. Could make it climb and dive and try not to wreck it.Some years ago I got for a cousin two RC cars could race around on a driveway.Otherwise I just got an update from some fast Google searches. Some of the RCs, likely not FPV, for trick helicopter flying or car racing are beyond belief. Some of the RC air planes, some with four turbo jet engines — alone really amazing — are astounding. But by now FPV is available in drones for all of $60.Okay, okay, okay — fun toys. But amazing components. So, let’s see what can be done that is significant and meaningful. My startup is far away from such things; again I’m glad my startup has a crucial technological core that can provide the first good solution to a problem 2+ billion people want to have solved and that is difficult to duplicate or equal.Heck, with just routine secret sauce, the market can be flooded with competition before the ink can dry on a planning document or term sheet or before can get the first good server built and on-line.

It’s nice! I want one. I think that the west coast server is biting the dust. 🙂

I need something like this but bigger, to carry my bag, and to write my comments.
