Counting The Chickens

My cliche of the week this week was "don’t count your chickens before they hatch".

When I wrote it, I hadn’t seen this Businessweek cover:

That is counting chickens before they hatch and Jason Calacanis, who knows a bit about counting chickens from his experience during the last bubble, calls it out.

I like Kevin, I like Digg, and I like Digg’s investors, but I think its generally best to wait until the game is over to do the victory dance.
